Masters on Stage Records
Masters on Stage Records is a Dutch record label devoted to classical, modern and post-classical piano music. Many of its releases feature new, rarely performed or previously unknown works.
The recordings are produced at Studio 55 in Maastricht.
The catalogue includes several world-premiere recordings. The first releases appeared in 2017.
The collection includes complete cycles and larger collections by Valery Zhelobinsky, Dmitri Shostakovich, Jaan Rääts and Urmas Sisask. Among the world-premiere recordings are Zhelobinsky’s works released in 2017, Rääts’s 24 Preludes, Op. 33 and Light Pieces, Op. 65, and Robert Quodbach’s two piano sonatas.
Several new releases are planned, including Kalkbrenner’s 24 Preludes and Rääts’s 24 Travel Book Pieces and 24 Bagatelles.
